Taylor-Ryan has spent nearly a decade working for progressive candidates and causes. Coming from a union family in Detroit, she has long understood the impact that politics have on everyday working people and how to empower oneself amid struggle and uncertainty.

After graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science, Taylor-Ryan has since worked on historic campaigns across the country, including Bernie 2016 and 2020, Stacey Abrams for Governor and Gillum for Governor. Additionally, she has done advocacy work through Listos California, a pilot program for the State of CA that developed a model to distribute critical information and resources to the most vulnerable residents during the height of the COVID-19 crisis.

Taylor-Ryan currently resides in Jersey City, NJ with her partner, two cats and a pug.
